If you have a high level toon, and you've done a few cooking dailies in Dalaran, you've probably come across the quest "Convention at the Legerdemain Lounge." It's a great daily - if you've got 4 Chilled Meats and about 2 minutes, you're all set. Cook up that Northern Stew, grab that jug of wine, and you've got a happy convention of people.
It all started with a sneaking suspicion that something just wasn't right. How come I was never invited to these conventions? I always assumed that they were meetings involving Azerothian politics, or military powwows about new Scourge-defeating tactics. I have good ideas for that!!! Why wouldn't they invite me!? My boyfriend assured me that the reason for my lack of an invite was simply that "people like that never invite the help."
Which made me start thinking about this help I was giving them. What WAS this convention? What if it was something I didn't support? What if it was like, some secret horde meeting with an agenda to wipe out all night elf trees? And here I am, waltzing on in, OH HAY GUYS HERE HAVE SOME YUMMY SOUP I MADE IT JUST FOR YOU AND HERE'S WINE TOO HERE LET ME POUR YOU SOME and they're like "*sip* Mmmm, thank you Averna, this is quite good, don't you agree, Marrowgnawer?" And Marrowgnawer is like "I liiiike shiiiiniesssss" and they're like "Indeed, Marrowgnawer, jolly good!" and this is all while they're secretly planning to eliminate me when the time is right!!!!
OR. OR! What if the convention is for the Society of Friends of Applebough?!
Until I get more information regarding this.... "convention".....
